For over twenty years Cynthia Olson has told the stories of leading international and U.S.-based organizations — bringing together strategy, messaging and analytics to convey a cohesive view of your work, helping you understand your audience and increase your reach. She brings expertise in organizational storytelling, strategic messaging and multi-media content creation, as well as a pragmatic style to project management. 

She founded Full Story Strategies in 2020 working with social change organizations. Cynthia brings deep listening skills to storytelling and an approach to strategy that is empathetic and pragmatic, allowing her to quickly understand the concerns of her clients and the complexity and aspiration inherent to social change. In all of her work, Cynthia applies an ethical storytelling lens that elevates and honors the stories of those impacted by these organizations.

She has advised numerous institutions, including the Girl Effect, Harlem Children’s Zone, the Women’s Refugee Commission and others. As an in-house communications lead, she oversaw media strategies, digital platforms, and creative campaigns, advising New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio as Director of Communications for the Mayor’s Fund of New York City and through leadership positions with iMentor, the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and the Nike Foundation for Girls. She began her career as a speech-writer at Planned Parenthood of New York City.  

Cynthia is a founding board member of Minds Matter and volunteers with Metropolitan Jewish Health Services Hospice and the New Georgia Project. She holds an MA from the University of Edinburgh, UK, and a BA from George Mason University in Fairfax Virginia.

Symone Henry is a Visual Marketing and Creative Director specializing in dynamic graphic designs, movement-centered video editing, and magnetic photography. As a visual content specialist, Symone has expertise in luxury fashion marketing, UXUI design, and non-profit communications and development.

Symone attended New York University where she received a Master’s degree in International Relations concentrated in International Politics and Global Business. At NYC, she was able to study abroad in Canada, Thailand, and Argentina to study the effects of culture, location, and politics on regional marketing and consumption behaviors.

She is currently the Co-founder and Marketing Director of Cocoa.isms, LLC an e-commerce beauty supply brand based in Brooklyn, NY.

Brette Goldstein is an Executive Performance Coach and Team Facilitator. A frequent collaborator with Full Story Strategies, she brings expertise working with C-suite leaders to build public profiles through media training, honing presentation styles, and developing thought leadership strategies. With 25 years of experience speaking the language of story through casting film, television, theatre, and commercials, Brette works with clients as she works with actors, bringing their authentic voice to the “role” - be it a livestream event, an important presentation, or a high-stakes interview.

Brette’s work as a casting director and acting coach has included casting for over 50 independent films, five television series, 300+ commercials, countless plays, seven pilot presentations, and various new media projects. She was the resident casting director at Washington, D.C.’s Folger Theatre for ten seasons. Brette teaches and coaches at Montclair State University, Muhlenberg College and University of Maryland, as well as professional studios in New York and Los Angeles, including Actors Connection.

Brette is a FMCA (Functional Medicine Coaching Academy) Certified Coach with an emphasis on Positive Psychology, and a CultureTalk certified partner. She is based on the west coast in Palm Springs, California.

Jamie Lonie brings over a decade of experience in traditional and digital nonprofit communications. In this capacity, Jamie has served as a digital media specialist for global organizations like the Education Commission, Welcome to Chinatown, and the Global Business Coalition for Education, managing digital content across these organizations' websites, blogs, email campaigns, and social media channels. Previously, Jamie helped develop Teach For America's national social media strategy as Director of Social Media Community and supported local communications for the organization's Houston region as Director of Communications and Marketing. 

Jamie works with a variety of clients to assess their current digital communications infrastructure, understand the broader online conversations around their area of work, and strategize how to best leverage digital tools to better engage supporters online. 

Jamie graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. He also holds a Master of Education degree from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, which he earned while teaching elementary science.
